Reflection

It'll BLOW Your Mind: Reflection

Assignment 3 Reflection
In my assignment 3 analysis I feel that I did an exceptional job discussing my Burger King ad. There was minion part that I could have fixed with your corrections that you sent me via e-mail. But all in all I think I did good. On the other hand I did not feel to great about how I did on my presentation. I feel that I was nervous and not well prepared for it and I will do better next time. Although It did not go so great I still felt good about how I talked about the organization and I tried to interact with the audience. Assignment 3 was not my best but I feel that I have learned a lot from it and I will do better next time.

Reflection "Is Google Making Us Stupid"

My summary over "Is Google Making Us Stupid" was fairly easy because I could relate back to the title because I am a computer friendly person. Doing my Group Revision also helped me write my summary. I feel like I needed to make changes to my previous summary because my thesis was not clear to the audience and i needed more detail. Overall I think my essay is better after the peer revision session because I know what my audience is looking for now.

Portfolio Design Reflection:

The way I approached my portfolio was me showing the audience what I like. As you can see in the header there is a boy on a bike and the represents me because I am a boy at heart and I enjoy riding my bike. With the text on I decided to go with a basic white color because it was easier to see with the background I chose. The layout is really simple, i made it small because people like to get to the point.

Group Reflection:

The people that i worked with DC, Rob, Darius, and James. We all went home and read the story "The boy who died of football," after reading the story we came to class the next day and discussed what we had read. After the discussion we all came to a clear purpose about what we needed to write about. Overall the group was good because we all played a role in writing the summary and not just one man took the work load. In the future I would enjoy to work with these young men again.
